The process of Developing and delivering software project called SDLC
In SDLC we have several process
Requirement gathering
Requirement analysis

Development / coding / implementation
Testing
Deployment
Deliver
Maintenance
WaterFall Methodology
Waterfall model
\ Early people used to follow waterfall methodology to develop project*
\ Water fall is linear methodology to develop and deliver project*
\ Everything will happen step by step*
\ We will move only in forward direction*
\ requirement is fixed*
\ budget is fixed*
\ client will see the project at the end*
\ client involves is very less*
\if one step is completed then only we will go to the next step, to overcome this problem the new concept called Agile Methodologies.*
Agile Methodology :
Agile methodology
Agile is an iterative approach
Development and testing will happen parallelly
client involvement is very high
we will deliver project in multiple releases
for every release we will take client feedback
requirement is not fixed
budget is not fixed
project development , testing and delivery very frequently
Note: waterfall methodology is not suitable for large project
using devops culture we can adopt agile methodology very easily
devops is promoting agile methodology
using devops we can achieve CI/CD
